Application of NdFeB magnetic materials the magnetic performance parameters of high-performance NdFeB magnets mainly include:

1. Intrinsic parameters, such as Curie temperature Tc, are mainly determined by the chemical composition and crystal structure of the material;

2. Structure sensitive parameters: such as remanence BR, maximum magnetic energy product mmax and coercivity Hcj. These parameters are not only related to intrinsic parameters, but also related to the microstructure of materials, such as grain size, grain orientation and crystal defects.

The stability of high-performance NdFeB magnet includes thermal stability, stability disturbed by external magnetic field and time stability. Due to the low Curie temperature (312 ℃), Nd-Fe-B is very sensitive to temperature. When heated, its remanence, especially the intrinsic coercivity, decreases rapidly, and the magnetic temperature coefficient increases. The early magnets had poor stability and generally could only work at a temperature less than 100 ℃, but after the development in recent years, the service temperature has also been significantly improved.

Thermal stability of high performance NdFeB magnets: the main way is alloying. The better the temperature stability of permanent magnet materials, the higher the working ambient temperature. At present, the maximum working temperature of high-performance products can exceed 200 ℃, but solving its low thermal stability is still a key problem in the application of Nd-Fe-B.
